Today was a relative short ride to the "Sacred Valley of the Inca's", which was good as my stomach was a bit off this morning, maybe it was the guinea Pig I ate for dinner last night :) .
on the way we stopped at an Alpaca wool weaving place and the Salinas, which is where they make salt from saling water that comes out of the side of the mountain. after lunch we arrived in Ollantaytambo, where I visited the Inca fortress, and then walked around town.
The Suzuki 650 DR has been good so far on the bitumen and dirt roads, the cobblestones today were a bit rough though, what has been giving me some grief though is the seat is quite hard and small, but I may have improved matters a bit today with the purchase of an alpaca skin cushion into which I've put an alpaca wool scarf, and placed this on my bike seat, just have to see how it goes.

Great photos John. Love the local dress. So did it taste like chicken?
