The weather fined up for a while this morning, and I saw the volcanoes, I think it could be a bit intimidating living close to these knowing the damage and loss of life they can cause.
Had the morning to fill in so walked to the old cathedral, which is now just a ruin, damaged by a couple of the earthquakes about 300 yrs ago. as a ruin it is awesome, it must have been an impressive place before it was destroyed.
the weather has now closed in and its raining with a thunderstorm, so apart from a couple of days when we had only some rain, it has been pretty good weather for this part of my trip.
