another early start today as we have a lot of km to travel as it’s our longest ride of the tour. No more sandy desert roads, as today we travelled on the Trans Kalahari Highway heading due east out of Namibia towards Botswana and the Okavango Delta. The roads were all good tar to the border of Botswane, where we have an easy crossing, the landscape is prety flat but the bush is now much denser as we travel on to the cattle farming town of Ghanzi. As the bushveld rolls by we have to avoid the many animals on the road, cattle goats, horses and donkeys that seem to be just just running loose. overnight at the Kalahari Arms Hotel in Ghanzi.
No photos today as pretty boring landscape, have to pack a small bag tonight as tomorrow we ride to Maun, where I fly to oddballs camp in the Okavango Delta. not sure if there's internet there so blog may go quiet for a couple of days.
