Today our destination is Ohakune, a small town close to the southwestern slopes of the active volcano Mount Ruapehu. on the way we stop at to Huka Falls, the largest falls on the Waikato River where every second up to 220,000 liters of water gushes through the gorge before spurting out over a small waterfall. The land here is a lot flatter so not so much twisty riding today, and looks like some parts of Australia.
They might be taking you down to Wellington tomorrow?
