Not a long ride today, but we start off in the rain again, but it had stopped by the time we got to our first stop about an hour later. We arrived at Franz Josef Glacier in good time to fly up over the glacier in a helicopter, something I had not done before. hopefully the weather is fine tomorrow for a long ride as we continue down the south island to Queenstown. One thing to watch out for are the little flies the size of a midge, that bite like a march fly.
