our itinerary has changed a little, apparently a new bridge has been built over the river flowing from the lake and there is not enough clearance for the ships to go through, so we had a 5 hour bus trip to the Mekong river to meet our boat, after a break we did a short walk around the town and to a monastery. now cruising on the Mekong.
