Well I finally arrived at the right hotel, but that's another story. all of my flights were delayed for various reasons, firstly in Perth as it was going to be a quick flight the pilot didn't want to take off as it would be a quick flight and he didn't want to break the curfew, little did he know that these was a problem with the radar in Sydney that also delayed landing and docking. Then the next flight to Dallas left us sitting on the tarmac for 2 hrs waiting for transit passengers delayed because of the radar issue. Then the flight to Cancun was delayed on the tarmac for 30 mins due to a passport issue with one of the passengers. on arrival at Cancun a porter was standing by the baggage saying that not all bags has arrived on this flight, I thought the worst having already worried that my bags would even get here through all the transfers, but fortunately here they were. finally got to the hotel arranged by the tour company at midnight, only to find that they didn't have a booking for me. This was a big mess-up by the tour company that had stopped using that hotel and I should have gone to another one, my mind reading ability had failed again :) a number of frantic phone calls and emails finally sorted it out the next day, thanks to Lex.
Today 26th, I went on a tour to a Mayan walled city ruins, Tulum, then some Reef Snorkeling then on to Caracol Cenote and Caves which we swam through.
Moved to a new Hotel, met the tour guide and went to dinner with him and the one other person on the tour an older woman from Perth, so will have some company.
