early start today to travel to the Capital of Laos, Vientiane. first we took a three-wheeler tuktuk to the bridge. Obtained a Laos visa, another hour and a half to cross the border, tuktuk 20 km into Vientiane. Also called City of the Moon it is one of the classic Indochina cities, with an intriguing mix of Thai, French and Soviet influences.
